Sometimes you just got to do something for the community. Giving back can be done in many ways. And today, we give back by building a plugin requested by the community, and giving it to the community free.
So we have been launching quite a number of WooCommerce eCommerce websites so far and got pretty good at it along the way. Today, as part of the WooCommerce Help & Share community in Facebook, we decided to give back.
To start off with, we posted to ask for suggestions about what plugin would be useful for everyone. There is quite some feedback, but it seems that removing the high price for variation products is one key thing that many WooCommerce users need. Showing the high variation price simply scares away customers.
So we did it. The WooCommerce Plugin for Removing Price Variation.
Below are some screens from the demo.
1. Product page – the price variation is 9.99-10.99. Now it only shows 9.99.
2. Side widget – checked.
3. Product listing page – checked.
4. Homepage products – checked.
Hope this comes across useful to WooCommerce users and developers.
If you have any questions at all or have some plugin suggestions, feel free to leave your comments below.
I’ll be around to reply to comments and answer questions.
